Museum of Labor Glory of Institute of Metals and Alloys

The Institute was established in 1958 on the basis of the subdivisions of the Institute of Mechanical Engineering and Agricultural Mechanics of the Academy of Sciences of the Ukrainian SSR. About 500 employees work at the institution, including two academicians and four corresponding members of the National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine, 26 doctors of science and more than 50 candidates of science. The structure of the institute includes 16 scientific departments and a number of auxiliary units.

The developments of the institute's employees have been awarded numerous scientific awards. Here, highly qualified scientific personnel are trained through doctoral and post-graduate studies, including for foreign countries. The Institute maintains business contacts with scientific centers, firms and enterprises in Ukraine and abroad, has foreign contracts for the implementation of its technologies in more than 30 countries of the world.
