Training Hangar of the National Aviation University

Information
The Aviation Training Hangar (ATH), which is unique in terms of its capabilities and content, is used for high-quality training of aviation engineers of the Aerospace Institute of NAU.
The hangar has a roof structure with a tensioned truss membrane, which provides a significant useful area for the location of real aircraft (7,200 sq. m. (120 m × 60 m), with a room height of 22.5 m). It is equipped with powerful electrical networks of industrial and special aviation currents (27 V direct current, 208 V, 400 Hz — alternating current), with a total capacity of more than 200 kW.
ANA hosts aircraft of various design schemes, periods of development and operation. These aircraft are: AN-24, Tu-154, Yak-42, L-410, AN-2; helicopters: Mi-8, Mi-2 (2 units), Mi-4, Ka-26. Gas turbine aircraft engines D-20P, NK-12MV, NK-8-2u are presented separately. All aircraft have cutouts, which allows for more effective learning of complex training material on the design of aircraft.
