NULES — Museum of forest animals and birds

At the National University of Life and Environmental Sciences of Ukraine, museum business began its development back in 1898, when the functioning of the museum at the zoological laboratory was started.

After carrying out repairs and constantly updating the exhibits, the museum named after Professor O.O. Salgansky, got a new life. In it you can see a large collection of stuffed birds and mammals, bird nests and eggs, horns of ungulates, as well as skeletons, carcasses and fur. Classes on forest zoology, fur commodity science, hunting trophies, biology and ethology of hunting animals are organized here. The museum is a part of the department of forest biology and hunting science and invites everyone to exciting excursions.
