In 2009, on the initiative of V.F. Moskalenko — Rector of the National Medical University named after O.O. Bogomolets, a portrait gallery of outstanding scientists was created. The gallery contains portraits of famous doctors and educators, which were painted by outstanding artists of Ukraine with oil on canvas. It also includes expositions that tell about the history of medicine and the development of medical education in Ukraine.
