Information
Boris Paton, an outstanding Ukrainian scientist and inventor, made a significant contribution to the development of science and technology. His achievements in the field of metallurgy, welding and scientific organization are known throughout the world. Academician Paton has more than 1000 publications, 400 inventions and 20 monographs.
The memorial room of Academician Borys Yevhenovich Paton is located in the building of the Presidium of the National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine. This building, located at 54 Volodymyrska Street, was built in the 1850s according to the project of architect Oleksandr Beretti.
