KDIDPMiD — museum archive of diploma theses
Information
The museum-archive has in its collection diploma theses of graduates of higher educational institutions since the end of the 1990s. The collection also includes works of applied art created in the period from the 1950s to the 1970s. Exhibits include tapestries, ceramic, embroidered and woven products, glass and fabric paintings, wood carvings and inlays, metal art, and more. Special attention is paid to the works of graduates of graphic design and industrial design specializations, which are kept in the respective departments.
The museum is located in two rooms on the 1st and 2nd floors of the central building of the institute. A temporary room for storing exhibits is also located on the 5th floor of the institute's dormitory. Museum expositions are regularly held both in the premises of the institute itself and outside its boundaries.
