Healing spring "Yaryna"

Frank's forest trail runs at a distance of 1 km from the "Yaryna" spring, which is considered the spiritual center of the Naguyevychy. Here stood a mighty hundred-year-old oak tree, and also here, according to legend, the Mother of God appeared to a little girl.

In 1913, Ivan Franko visited this place to treat his sick hands. People come here to take water from the spring, bathe in it and take it with them, because they believe that it has healing properties and helps with many physical and spiritual ailments. Local residents report that many people come to the chapel and spring from the surrounding villages, as well as from the cities of Drohobych and Boryslav.
