Museum of history of the botanical garden of O.V. Fomin

The Museum of the History of the Botanical Garden was founded in 2003 on the initiative of the director V.V. Kapustyana In 2004, the Museum was officially opened, and after reconstruction in 2009, it moved to new premises and continued its work.

Collected documents, exhibits and rarities from the archives of various cities were used to create the exposition. The Museum collection includes more than 10,000 exhibits, which, in particular, tell about the history and present of the Botanical Garden, as well as about famous biological scientists. Visitors can familiarize themselves with the history of the garden and the achievements of outstanding biological scientists, as well as learn about the current development of the Botanical Garden . The museum is popular among students, schoolchildren, residents of Kyiv and guests of the city.
