Information
The Izmail Art Gallery is a cultural object with its own unique history. The creation of the gallery began in 1974, when it was decided to transform the art department of the A.V. museum. Suvorov in an independent art gallery. Thanks to the great efforts of the team, with the personal contribution of Emilia Mykolaivna Yevdokymova, in 1987 the art department was reorganized and became a branch of the Odessa Art Museum. However, the Izmail Art Gallery was recognized as an independent state museum of the second category only in 1994.
The gallery's collection contains more than 5,000 unique works of art. The museum constantly organizes exhibitions and holds various cultural events for art lovers.
