The Microminiatures Museum of Mykola Syadristy
Information
The Mykola Syadristy Museum of Microminiatures is located on the territory of the Kyiv-Pechersk Lavra. This museum is a special place, because all the works of the master are made by hand, according to personally invented technology for each type of work. The miniatures have incredible detail, which makes them unique.
Among the microminiatures displayed in the exhibition, almost every one is unique. For example, a rose in a thread, a whole caravan of golden camels in the eye of a needle, and a bas-relief portrait of ballerina Maya Plisetska on a piece of cherry stone measuring 3x4 millimeters. This is just a very short list of the amazing things that can be seen in the Museum of Microscopic Miniatures in the Kyiv Pechersk Lavra.
Mykola Syadristy is recognized as the best miniaturist in the world.
