Information
Opened on August 23, 2002, this art gallery offers exhibitions, cultural and educational events. In general, the gallery has three exhibition halls, two of which are dedicated to the work of the outstanding artist Nataliya Volodymyrivna Yuzefovych. These rooms showcase her impressive landscapes, still lifes, portraits and narrative canvases. Yuzefovych gave more than 167 of her works to her hometown, where they met great affection and recognition. She believed that national features should be embodied in the artist's works, and together with love and understanding of folk art of Ukraine, her style is distinguished by a special worldview.
The gallery updates its exposition three times a year, and also holds personal and collective exhibitions of artists, photographers and masters of decorative and applied arts, which stimulate the discovery of new talents and the popularization of folk art, as well as develop the aesthetic tastes of the population. The gallery also hosts thematic mini-exhibitions of children's works, which contribute to the development of children's artistic creativity and the disclosure of children's creative individuality. Visitor service is an important part of the gallery's work. Lectures and meetings with artists are arranged for pupils and students of the city.
