Ukrainian Art of the ХХ Century

In the NML museum complex at 42 M. Dragomanov Street, you can view the updated permanent exhibition "Ukrainian Art of the 20th Century". This exhibition presents the development of Ukrainian art during the 20th century in all its diversity — from the best representatives of modernism to the pursuits of the avant-garde.

The art section of the 1950s-1970s presents the best works of artists of various schools and trends that developed despite the official doctrine of socialist realism. Another section of the exhibition consists of works by Ukrainian postmodern artists of the 1980s and 1990s. The works of Ukrainian diaspora artists deserve special attention.
