Alexandria Dendrology Park

Information
Located on the banks of the Ros River in Bila Tserkva, the Oleksandria Arboretum Park is one of the largest parks in Ukraine with an area of 400 hectares. It was created more than 200 years ago by the family of Count Francis Xavier Branytskyi, a famous landowner. Despite the complex history, the park preserves the main landscape compositions and is considered a unique monument of garden and park art of the XVIII-XIX centuries, in the creation of which many famous architects and gardeners from Europe took part.
The basis of the park composition is a natural forest-steppe landscape consisting of an oak forest, meadows, meadows and water bodies. Natural landscapes are harmoniously intertwined with architectural structures, such as romantic pavilions, gazebos, colonnades and bridges. More than 2,500 species of plants have been collected in the Oleksandria Dendrological Park.
