Trostianets Dendrological Park

"Trostianets" is a monument of garden and park art of the 19th century, which was created with the support of I.M. Skoropadskyi. Located in the southeastern part of Chernihiv region, the park has an area of 204.7 hectares and is surrounded by forest protection strips with an area of about 350 hectares.

The park is a scientific-research institution that studies the introduction and acclimatization of plants, the restoration and reconstruction of park landscapes, the propagation of introduced plants, and also conducts effective educational work. The park has an arboretum on an area of 11.4 hectares, where a collection of almost a thousand different species of woody plants has been collected.

In Trostyanets Park you can see more than 400 species and forms of trees and shrubs, including about 75 coniferous species and a large collection of deciduous plants.
