Zoological Museum of Ivan Franko National University

Located in the very heart of Lviv at 4 Hrushevsky Street, the Zoological Museum of Benedikt Dybovsky is one of the oldest university museums in Europe. Its history is more than 200 years old.

Today, the museum collects rare animal specimens from all over the world, represented by more than 178 thousand exhibits. Of this impressive number, about 10,000 exhibits are on display, including specimens of animals that no longer exist in nature. The museum exposition and scientific funds of the Zoological Museum were included in the list of national treasures in 2005.
