National Historic and Archaeological Reserve "Olvia"

Olvia is a historical and archaeological reserve in the south of Ukraine. This is the place on the shore of the Black Sea, where the ruins of one of the largest polises on the territory of Ukraine — Olvia are located. It was founded in the 6th century B.C. In ancient times, Olvia was an important trade and cultural center, as well as a military and strategic point.
The Olvia Nature Reserve was founded in 1927 to preserve the archaeological and historical monuments located on the territory of the former city. On the territory of the reserve, you can see the remains of ancient structures and residential buildings, which testify to the high culture and prosperity of this city.
The Olvia Nature Reserve is one of the largest tourist attractions in the Mykolaiv region.
