Greenhouses of botanical garden of O.V. Fomin

Botanical garden of Academician O.V. Fomina of Taras Shevchenko Kyiv National University can boast of its remarkable status as one of the oldest botanical institutions in Ukraine. This garden plays an important role in scientific research, teaching, education and conservation, focusing its efforts on the conservation, research and expansion of the plant resources of the region through the creation and addition of botanical collections.

Thanks to the work of many outstanding botanists, a unique collection of plants originating from different geographical areas was created. This collection includes approximately 9,000 species, varieties, forms and varieties of plants, which makes it one of the most diverse in Ukraine.
