NMNH. Paleontological Museum

In the exhibition of this museum you can find more than 2000 unique exhibits, most of which were collected on the territory of Ukraine. This collection is devoted to the history of the development of the flora and fauna of the Earth, starting with the appearance of life and up to the present day. The museum stock collections number more than 1 million specimens. The museum has 106 display cases, 5 art dioramas and two buildings built from mammoth bones.

These paleontological collections are constantly replenished not only thanks to scientific excavations and research conducted by museum employees. Findings of interesting fossil objects that come from citizens of Ukraine, as well as their gifts, play a significant role in enriching the exposition and scientific collections. The museum is constantly updated, so its expositions always have new exciting exhibits.
