In 2013, a number of expeditions took place to create virtual tours of places connected with the life and work of T.G. Shevchenko. The creation of interactive 3D tours is dedicated to the 200'th anniversary of the birth of the great Kobzar.
Many places were visited not only within Ukraine, but also abroad, in particular in Kazakhstan (Museum and memorial complex in the city of Fort Shevchenko, Memorial stele in the steppe near Karabutak, T.G. Shevchenko Monument and Park in Aktau, Memorial plaque and monument of TG Shevchenko in Almaty).
Presentation of information about places of interest in the form of virtual tours is aimed at the interest of visitors and interactive interaction with the content, which favorably distinguishes virtual tours from photos or videos. The technology of virtual tours allows to feel the atmosphere of the old houses where T.G. Shevchenko stayed and lived.
