On November 21 at 6:00 PM, a historical and artistic dialogue "Candle of Memory" will take place, dedicated to the Day of Remembrance of the Victims of the Holodomor. The event will combine a historical conversation and an artistic program and is designed to support the culture of memory about the crime of the Holodomor and the experience of the Ukrainian resistance.
Organizers of the event: the art agency "Territory A" together with the Pylyp Orlyk Foundation.
With the support of: the State Agency for the Promotion of Culture of Ukraine (SAPKU) and the Center for Folklore and Ethnography of the Taras Shevchenko National University of Kyiv.
The initiator of the event is Anzhelika Rudnytska.

The “Candle of Memory” dialogue is planned to combine historical commentary, live music, poetry, and visual art. The program is built around the themes of the Holodomor, the resistance movement, and the role of culture in preserving historical memory.
The program includes:
- historical dialogues about the Holodomor and the resistance movement;
- a performance by the choir of the Kyiv Orthodox Theological Academy;
- poetic and artistic performances with the participation of Pavlo Korobchuk, Anzhelika Rudnytska and Volodymyr Trach, Tetyana Vlasova, and Serhiy Smalchuk;
- participation by the Stodyvnytsia band;
- an exhibition of paintings by Oleksiy Potapenko “Breads”, created for the annual all-Ukrainian and international “Candle of Memory” campaign, held on Holodomor Remembrance Day.
The exhibition "Bread" by artist Oleksiy Potapenko focuses on the theme of bread and land as important elements of Ukrainian historical memory and everyday life, and is also connected to the tradition of honoring the victims of the Holodomor.
