We invite you to the excursion "Places of the Revolution of Dignity" in January
15-01-2024 (16:38)

10 years ago, fateful events for the country took place on the Maidan.
In January 2013, Euromaidan with slogans about a better future and democratic values was forced to defend itself under the pressure of the authorities and security forces and turned into Maidan-camp, and later into Maidan-Sich.

How the protest changed, what helped the demonstrators to stand in the open in the coldest days of the revolutionary winter, how the structure of the Maidan functioned - you can learn about this and more during the excursion "Places of the Revolution of Dignity".

Together with the Museum guide Viktoria Boiko, you will walk through the iconic places of the Revolution of Dignity and see real things of Maidan residents in the exposition of the Information Center of the Maidan Museum, located in the House of Trade Unions. There you can be inspired by the atmosphere of protest, warm yourself with hot tea, as protesters once did, and see a unique wooden sculpture of Taras Shevchenko.

At the Bell of Dignity you will learn more about the Heroes of the Heavenly Hundred. There, together we will honor the memory of the people of Maidan, who defended our right to a European future at the cost of their lives.

We invite you to learn more about the Revolution of Dignity as the first victorious battle of this war.
