Spend time with the Maidan Museum at the "Different Together" festival

We invite you to the museum location of the festival for children and teenagers "Different Together".

September 20, 21 and 22 – three days of the festival at the Mystetskyi Arsenal (12 Lavrska St., Kyiv), where you can freely create and collaborate, explore and flirt, not be afraid to make mistakes and be different, discover new and new things . Festival guests will be able to get numerous educational experiences at 42 stands, 15 of which were presented by museum participants, 23 by public organizations, clubs, libraries, schools of robotics and STEAM, and 4 by the fair. The space of the Festival is like a journey through different "continents", a journey through the spheres of our life, manifestations of culture and society, presented in an accessible and fun form. At the location of the Maidan Museum (stand A16), you can refresh your knowledge of history and be inspired by the revolutionary struggle of the Maidan.

Every day from 10:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. we invite you to join the museum activities. We have prepared the following for you:

Quiz game "Ukrainian heroes"

We invite you to learn more about the heroes of Ukrainian history from ancient times to the present day. The quiz game "Ukrainian Heroes" is designed for 3 age groups, so it will be interesting to play both first-graders and teenagers.

Activity for children 6–15+ years old.

"Museum in a suitcase"

Through the presented thematic items, you will be able to familiarize yourself with the events of the Revolution of Dignity, learn about the Museum and its activities. Also, get information about places related to the events of the Revolution of Dignity, the Heroes of the Heavenly Hundred, and the history of specific exhibits from the collection of the Maidan Museum.

Historical classics "Road to Freedom"

Playing, you can have a fun and active time and at the same time learn about:

10 important events in the history of Ukraine that brought us closer to independence;
regions in which, apart from Kyiv, the Revolution of Dignity took place;
Maidan initiatives created by protesters during the Revolution of Dignity events;
10 key dates in the Revolution of Dignity calendar;

The game will be available all the time during all days of the festival at the museum location.

The activity is suitable for joint leisure of children and parents of all age categories.

Master class on making posters with Maidan slogans

Posters, flags, ribbons and stickers - all with slogans and calls for joining the EU. This is how Euromaidan began in November 2013. Let's remember those events together and create our own poster!

Ticket price:

  • full entrance ticket (for adults and children over 5 years old) — 150 hryvnias.
  • family ticket (valid for 2 adults and 1-2 children over the age of 5) — 400 UAH.
  • subscription (for all days of the Festival for 1 person) — 400 UAH.

*Certain categories of visitors will be able to visit the festival for free if they have an ID: children under 5 years of age pensioners* children and adults with disabilities and one accompanying person* combatants and military personnel* family members of fallen combatants and war veterans* internally displaced persons* museum workers * and CIMAM, ICOM membership card holders.
