F.P. De-Volan Museum of Odesa port

Museum of Odessa Port named after F.P. De-Volana was founded on April 10, 1990 and was opened for the 200th anniversary of Odessa. The main purpose of its creation was educational activity and the organization of an exposition that acquaints visitors with the history and present of the Odesa port, which is of great importance for the city.
During the first few years of its existence, the museum became a center that presents the unique history of one of the leading ports of Ukraine and reveals the history of Odessa and the Northern Black Sea region as a whole. The exposition of the museum consists of 5 halls, where rare archaeological finds, diagrams, maps, engravings, as well as unique plans of De Volan for the construction and development of the port and cities are presented.
