Ivan Franko Family Residence Museum

A building of museum was built by the son of the brother of the prominent Ukrainian writer Ivan Franko, Omelyan. The exposition of the house-museum is located in four rooms.
The first of them is dedicated to the life and creative path of I. Franko. It contains his childhood photos, pictures from his student years, as well as later years of his life. Much attention is paid to the family tree of the Franko's. In the second room, there are exhibits related to the family of Onufry Franko from Pidgirky, as well as a corner dedicated to the priest, poet and educator Antin Mohylnytskyi. The third room, "Franko's Light", is decorated with books and furniture that belonged to the writer. The last room is called "Ivan Franko and Smolsky" and contains paintings by the artist Grigory Smolsky. He kept many memories of I. Franko.
The museum hosts search and research works, readings, seminars, cultural and art exhibitions.
