Literary and Memorial Museum of H.S. Skovoroda

In Chornuhy, in the Poltava region, there is a museum where you can learn about the life and work of the outstanding thinker and writer Hryhoriy Skovoroda. In 1972, a memorial estate of his parents was opened next to the museum in honor of the 250th anniversary of the philosopher's birth.

The museum contains more than 2,000 exhibits dedicated to Skovoroda and the life and history of Chornuhy. The exhibition includes works of art, archaeological finds, sculptures and historical artifacts. On the territory of the museum there is a monument to Hryhoriy Skovoroda, created by the sculptor Mykola Kogan.
