Information
The monument is located in the village of Qarabutaq, Aktobe region. In 1848, the expedition, whose participant was Taras Shevchenko, stopped here.
In 1968, this granite monument was created by the sculptor Shkolovsky and installed in the village park at the request of the people of Qarabutaq. The local school was also named after Kobzar, and it has a section dedicated to Taras Hryhorovych.
