    Information

Pavlo Hryhorovych Tychyna is a famous Ukrainian poet, but he was also a talented musician and artist, so his talent was not limited to literature. In addition, he had experience in government work, thanks to which he got this cozy apartment in the heart of Kyiv. Today, this place has turned into a literary and memorial museum dedicated to the poet's life and work, where dozens of unique works of art are presented. In the apartment you can see everyday interiors and musical instruments of Pavlo Tychyna.

In the poet's room, you can find paintings by Ukrainian masters and a grand piano, which was expertly played by Tychyna himself, a desk, a bed and other furniture. On the table in the office there is a stationery set, artistically carved by masters from Kosovo, which was presented to Pavlo Hryhorovych for his 55th birthday. Here you can see an exclusive bandura, which was specially ordered for Tychyna at the Chernihiv Music Factory from master Kozachenko. On the walls of the corridor we can see decorative plates.

In the second room of the museum, you can find bright red plates that were made by the Kyiv artist Nina Fedorova more than sixty years ago. Here you can also see dolls and the poet's library, which has more than 20,000 books.
