Lviv National Library of Ukraine of V. Stefanyk

The Lviv National Scientific Library of Ukraine named after V. Stefanyk is one of the largest information-analytical and socio-cultural centers in Ukraine. Unique handwritten and printed monuments of book culture, works of Ukrainian and foreign art and other types of documents are stored here. The library is a leading research institution in the fields of librarianship, bibliography, book studies, press studies, archival studies, art studies, conservation and restoration of documents.

The institution conducts large-scale research of Ukrainian books and periodicals of the 18th and early 20th centuries, publishes scientific reference publications, bibliographic indexes and other scientific works. The main activity of the library is aimed at preserving and multiplying the resource document and intellectual base, providing library and bibliographic services to users and creating information resources.
