Museum of Artistic Enamel

The Museum of Artistic Enamel is the only thematic museum in Ukraine, where a unique collection is made according to all the laws of the museum business, constantly replenished with masterpieces of the best Ukrainian enamelists. Today, enamel is interested in artists of various specialties, from monumentalists and painters to graphic artists and sculptors, as well as jewelers, who see in this technique new opportunities for realizing their creative ideas. Enamel products are resistant to temperature changes and are practically indestructible.

The purpose of the museum is to introduce a wide range of viewers, both local residents and visitors to the city, to the unique art of enamel and to develop it on the territory of Ukraine. The museum's collection consists of the best examples of Chinese, Japanese and French enamel art of the late 19th and 20th centuries, as well as works by contemporary Ukrainian artists. Exhibits include vases, compositions and portraits, small plastic objects and decorative dishes. The main directions of the museum's work are the completion of the collection with new arrivals, the presentation of new acquisitions to the audience and the development of this unique art technique.
